This place is a must on any vacation list or if you are a native of NYC...should your go to place. For me and the wife, since we live down south...it is a MUST when we go to NYC. The quality, flavor and ambience cannot compare to any Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. When talking about Chinese food most people think cheap and good. But what about good quality ingredients and good tasting....not many comes to mind....(none in my opinion)...but Uluh does achieve those standards. It is not too oily or too spicy to mask bad tasting ingredients (low quality). The food is amazing!! The Peking duck is a must have. The portion is generous and "beautiful" (LOL) it is just amazing (presentation and taste). Even the vegetables dishes are really good....and let me tell you ...I DONT LIKE VEGETABLES!!. The drinks are a must have. My go to drink is the Peach Oolong tea with cheese foam.....WOW...this is coming from somebody that just likes to drink Coffee. Overall, I cannot rave enough about this place....Hell..I trouble thousand of miles to eat here!!! That should count for something!!

I think this is such an amazing restaurant for dates, big groups, and family style dinners. The best dishes were the crab tofu, peking duck (which was incredibly crispy), and the soy milk with ice jelly drink (perfect sweetness and chewy textures). I think this is one of my favorite Szechuan restaurants in the city. The sweet and sour ribs felt like mostly bone though, so I probably wouldn't order it next time because it didn't feel that special. The cucumber salad is excellent and so is the stir-fried beef. I have been to Uluh twice already and I will be coming back. Staff is also very friendly and the bathrooms are clean, which is a bonus.

Delicious meal all around. Lots of homestyle chinese/szechuan menu options. Crispiesttt peking duck skin ever! Nothing was particularly 5-star worthy to me though, so I'll have to come back and try different dishes.
